Dr. Ralph Mentzel

As former head of the corporate law group of the central legal department of Siemens AG, Ralph Mentzel has long standing experience in stock corporation law, M&A and in corporate law, including a high expertise in the law for the transformation of companies.

Through his former practice within the German Internal Revenue Service, Ralph Mentzel has gained extensive knowledge in tax law. He therefore excels especially in advising on and developing strategic legal concepts for tax-driven restructuring plans.

Having worked in the USA for four years, Ralph Mentzel has gained an indepth knowledge of US law which is especially valuable for cross-border transactions in the fields of M&A and Venture Capital.

Ralph Mentzel is a founding partner of LMR.

He counsels publicly listed stock corporations (DAX 30 and TechDAX) for their annual shareholder`s meetings as well as in trials with respect to stock corporations law and advises in national and international M&A transactions.
